There are some days where the lighting, the location, and the styling just align perfectly. We recently took to the streets of downtown Wilmington to capture a look inspired by the timeless, vibrant energy of Havana. With the historic architecture as our backdrop and a 1950s Bel Air as our centerpiece, the atmosphere was unmatched.

The Aesthetic

To really nail that mid-century tropical elegance, it’s all about the details. The star of the show (besides the car) was the styling. My wife was rocking a sleek bob wig from Luvme Hair that pulled the entire vintage look together. It had that perfect "Old Hollywood meets Havana" vibes that looked incredible against the chrome of the Bel Air.

Behind the Lens


While I’m usually the one behind the camera, this time the roles were reversed. My wife took the lead on portraits, and she absolutely crushed it. There’s something special about having a creative partner who knows exactly how to capture the right angle and the right mood. The shots came out cinematic, soulful, and exactly what we envisioned for this project.
